The role will be crucial in providing support to both the Asset of Asset Management and Asset Manager in allowing Underwriting to make well informed decisions regarding collateral values and asset risk.

The role will require working closely with and provide cover for the other Asset Management Co-ordinator. Flexibility is a key trait as depending on workloads and business requirements it will fluctuate from assisting the administrator to supporting senior members of the team.

Due to the nature of this role it will play an important role in the coaching and development of other members of the Asset Management team as well as from time to time other members of the wider business.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

• To support the senior members of the team in all aspects of Asset Management
• To support on revaluation and asset related portfolio analysis alongside monthly reporting
• Manage workflow coming into the team, to deliver an effective and efficient service
• To assist with the asset related training and development covering members of the wider business

EXPERIENCE AND / OR QUALIFICATIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

Essential :
• Commercial understanding of the needs of an asset finance business to effectively manage asset related risk whilst delivery effective and efficient service
• Previous experience of Asset Management principles within an Asset Finance environment
• Previous experience in an Asset Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of manipulating data, use of pivot tables, etc
• Ability to juggle commerciality whilst mitigating risk

Desirable:
• Qualifications in a relevant discipline
• Other financial services business exposure e.g. ABL, leasing, Corporate Banking
• Full Clean UK driving license (this is especially important as it is critical to be able to drive in an asset related role)
