This continuously growing financial company is looking an individual to provide administrative support to the Asset Management team. Working closely with colleagues in Credit & Risks, Collections, and Sales departments, you will be required to oversee the administration of the valuation stage of the financing process managing workflow; prioritising workload: and requesting additional asset detail where necessary. This role will require working closely with external valuers and will require allocating valuation requests based on asset type between internal colleagues and external valuers.

 

Your new role...

  • To support the Asset Management team in the processing of valuation requests
  • Understanding the basic details required for a valuation to be obtained and where necessary requesting further detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Credit, Collections, and external valuers
  • Responsible for general Asset Management administration and meeting co-ordination (including invitations and minutes where applicable)
  • Ability to review invoices and liaise with the accounts team
  • Having a base understanding and appreciation of assets will be crucial over time

Essential:

  • Previous administration experience in an office environment
  • Mathematics and English GCSE
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong time management skills

Desirable:

  • Interest in assets and the valuation/disposal process
  • Experience of working in an Asset Finance environment
