Assistant Management Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our clients busy finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in financial reporting, bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll, and supporting both the sales and purchase ledgers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage accurate financial reports
- Reconcile balance sheets, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
- Produce weekly cash flow forecasts
- Support sales and purchase ledgers, overseeing timely invoicing and payment processing
- Assist with VAT return preparation, ensuring timely submissions
- Help process payroll, including hours verification and deductions accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant
- Strong technical skills in financial reporting, reconciliation and VAT preparation
- Experience with cash flow forecasting
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Capacity to handle confidential financial information
