You'll be given genuine autonomy to bring your ideas, improve processes and develop the audit offering. It's a role with plenty of scope to make your own mark, rather than simply stepping into an established structure.

- Develop strong relationships with clients and act as a senior point of contact
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working
- Support the continued growth of the audit client base
- Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the practice
- Help shape the structure and future development of the audit team
About You
We're looking for an experienced audit professional who is confident operating at a senior level and wants the opportunity to have genuine influence within a growing practice.
You'll ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong experience within audit, ideally gained within an accountancy practice
- Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP
- Experience managing, mentoring or developing more junior team members
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- A commercial and proactive approach
- The confidence to work closely with Directors and business owners
- The ability to identify opportunities and bring ideas to the table
- The ambition to develop and grow with the business
A full UK driving licence is required as the role involves travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays where required.
What's in it for you?
- Salary of £55,000–£65,000
- Hybrid working – 1 day from home per week
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Christmas closure in addition to your annual holiday allowance
- Private healthcare after probation
- Parking available
- Professional subscriptions paid
- Study support and ongoing CPD
- Personal Development Plans
- Bonus scheme following probation, linked to individual, team and business performance
- Regular team days and opportunities to contribute to the wider direction of the business
- A modern, welcoming working environment
- Genuine opportunity to build and develop the audit function
This is a particularly exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, build a team and genuinely influence the direction of a growing audit function.
If you're ready for a role where you can make your mark and have a real say in what the future looks like, we'd love to hear from you.
