If you're an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and being at the heart of a business, this could be the perfect opportunity.
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful business looking for someone to take ownership of their credit control function while providing wider business support across the office. It's a varied split role, with your time primarily focused on building strong customer relationships, managing the sales ledger and ensuring timely payments, alongside providing administrative support that helps keep the business running smoothly.
This is a standalone position where you'll work closely with Finance, Sales and Customer Service, giving you the opportunity to really make the role your own.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage prompt payment.
- Proactively managing outstanding debt while delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently.
- Working closely with Finance, Sales and Customer Service to resolve account queries and keep processes running smoothly.
- Producing aged debt reports and highlighting risks or trends to management.
- Maintaining accurate customer and supplier records.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the office, including handling calls, visitors and general administration.
- Providing ad hoc finance and business support as required.
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous Credit Control or Accounts Receivable experience.
- Is a confident communicator who enjoys building lasting customer relationships.
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Has strong attention to detail and good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Takes ownership, uses initiative and enjoys being part of a busy team.
