Are you an experienced administrator with a background in finance, credit or financial services?
We're recruiting for a Credit Coordinator to join the Credit team of a successful and growing financial services business. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills who is looking to develop their career within the asset finance industry.
You'll play an important role in supporting the Credit function, helping to ensure proposals are processed efficiently and accurately while delivering a high level of service to customers, brokers and suppliers.
The Role
Working as part of the Credit team, you'll be responsible for supporting the assessment and processing of a high volume of SME asset finance proposals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and assessing credit proposals in line with company policy, lending criteria and risk appetite
- Ensuring credit decisions are timely, commercially balanced and appropriately documented
- Reviewing and signing off credit conditions within your delegated authority, escalating where appropriate
- Managing deal changes and liaising with brokers, vendors and direct customers to provide timely responses
- Working closely with the Credit Support team to prepare proposals for credit assessment
- Gathering mandatory information from customers to support the credit process
- Managing the flow of tasks within the Credit function and ensuring required SLAs are met
- Providing administrative support to the Credit Automation initiative
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business when required
- Supporting a positive and inclusive team environment
About You
You'll ideally have at least one year's experience working within a financial environment, together with strong administration and organisational skills.

You'll also need 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A–C), or equivalent, including Maths and English.*
Experience within credit, lending, asset finance or financial services would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
