This isn't your typical credit control role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys getting to know customers, building strong relationships and finding solutions. Yes, you'll be responsible for ensuring invoices are paid on time, but it's about far more than simply chasing outstanding payments. It's about becoming a trusted point of contact who customers enjoy dealing with.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll take ownership of customer accounts while providing wider administrative support across the business. What you'll be doing

  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and becoming their go-to contact.
  • Managing customer accounts and encouraging prompt payment through proactive, professional communication.
  • Resolving invoice and payment queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Working closely with Finance, Sales and Customer Service to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitoring customer accounts and producing aged debt reports where required.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and account information.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the office with general administration and business support.
  • Getting involved wherever needed to help keep the business running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who...

  • Enjoys speaking to people and building genuine relationships.
  • Has experience in accounts, sales ledger, accounts receivable, finance administration or credit control role.
  • Is confident communicating by phone and email.
  • Can build rapport naturally whilst remaining professional.
  • Is organised, proactive and happy managing a varied workload.
  • Has good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Takes ownership of their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
