The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Customer Claims Handler, you’ll act as the key point of contact for clients, supporting them throughout their journey with professionalism and care.

  • Manage a high volume of client enquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Maintain and update accurate case files, keeping all information current and accessible
  • Clearly explain case updates and processes in a simple, client-friendly manner
  • Liaise with internal legal teams to communicate client needs and support positive outcomes
  • Balance multiple cases and prioritise tasks effectively based on urgency
  • Accurately document all client interactions and ensure timely follow-up
  • Handle client concerns with a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling and file organisation
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth communication
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service at every touchpoint

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and case management/CRM systems
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic working environment
  • Previous experience in legal, financial, or professional services (desirable)
  • Awareness of compliance and regulatory standards (advantageous)
