Our client, a well-established and growing international business, is seeking a Customer Operations Advisor to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. The Role
As a Customer Operations Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting Sales Account Managers and ensuring the smooth processing and management of customer orders. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high service standards, meeting customer lead times, and ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately.
This role has a particular focus on supporting international/export customers, so experience or interest in global operations would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and service levels
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve queries in a timely, professional manner
- Manage EDI orders and investigate any discrepancies
- Maintain and update pricing records across customer accounts
- Raise credits and handle pricing queries
- Produce reports to keep customers informed of order status, delays, or cancellations
- Create pro-forma invoices where required
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
- Organise and manage returns and associated documentation
- Work with customer portals to meet specific requirements, including labelling and proof of delivery
- Allocate stock and support promotional and new product launches
- Support internal teams with customer-specific requirements and delivery schedules
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a busy sales or customer operations environment
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident communication style
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Confidence working with systems, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- A flexible, team-oriented approach
What You’ll Get

- Up to £13.22 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
