Cummins Mellor has a fantastic role available in the Clayton Le Moors area, the role involves scanning documents and checking them using a computer. All documents will need staples removed and to be scanned accordingly.

Your new role...
- Prepare documents for scanning i.e. removal of staples, folds, attachments etc
- Sort documents into categories / groups / sections for scan processing according to job specifications
- Visually inspect documents to detect exceptions and non-scannable items and record them
- Ensure scan batches do not exceed the maximum number of pages
- Follow job specification sheets accurately to scan, name and output images against written processes and requirements
- Ensure all pages are scanned
- Follow all Operator quality assurance steps and raise technical issues to the Shift Supervisor
- Edit document naming as required
- Operate within the guidelines for all business operations against defined procedures
- Communicate effectively and cooperatively with all colleagues and management
- Participate in sampling and process development activities
- Strive to achieve scanning volume targets and all quality standards
- Take regular feedback on board and commit to continuous self-development
- Commit to deadlines in all individual and team-based jobs
- Complete the daily Operator record sheet accurately
- Complete all box labelling and other administrative tasks
Other duties that may be assigned include the following:
- Key holder responsibilities: unlock and lock up office where required
- Participate in team meetings and initiatives when required
- Participate effectively in all training activities. Be willing to train and develop on all current and future equipment, systems and software
- Conduct equipment and station cleaning processes
- Assist in providing other training for new starters
- Perform other duties as assigned by Managers
About you...
- Computer skills: Adequate PC / MS Windows skills are essential
- Attention to detail

- Ability to Lift 15KG
