
We are delighted to be working with a well-established business that is seeking a General Finance Administrator to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong Excel skills to support a busy finance function, with the possibility of the role developing into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices, payment requests, and reconciling supplier statements.

Oversee credit control duties such as chasing overdue payments and managing customer accounts.

Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reporting.

Assist with payment runs and respond to financial queries in a timely manner.

Provide general administrative support across the finance department.

Contribute to audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Demonstrate flexibility by supporting wider finance functions when required.
Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a finance or accounting administration role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Excel (reporting, reconciliations, and data management).

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience with accounting software (Sage 200 desirable but not essential).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing business needs
