We're proud to be recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and growing financial planning firm committed to making financial advice more accessible and client-focused. They’re now looking for a Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in supporting their continued growth and operational excellence.

The role - Financial Controller:

As the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of delivering timely and accurate weekly and monthly management information and accounts. You will oversee financial compliance, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met while identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance current processes. A key part of this role is developing and refining cash flow forecasting and treasury procedures, as well as leading the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, including project-level cash flow projections.

You will also be responsible for preparing year-end statutory accounts, basic corporation tax computations, and managing VAT, PAYE, and other routine tax returns. This position requires someone who has experience leading a finance team and is confident reporting directly to the board of directors. You will lead regular monthly board meetings, presenting key financial insights and recommendations. The role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s growth and evolution, with a strong focus on cost management and strategic financial planning.
