Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for people and delivering high-quality HR support? We are looking for a proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team and contribute to the smooth running of our human resources operations across the organisation.

About the Role

As HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the HR department. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination and employee data management. This is a key role that ensures the HR team can deliver a professional, efficient, and people-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR leadership team in planning departmental activities and projects aligned with organisational goals
  • Maintain and update HR records using relevant HR systems
  • Assist the Payroll Officer with processing changes, setting up new starters, and monthly payroll tasks
  • Attend meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions
  • Manage the central HR inbox, responding to enquiries and supporting recruitment processes
  • Coordinate recruitment advertising, liaise with hiring managers and agencies, and arrange interview logistics
  • Draft job descriptions, person specifications, contracts of employment, and offer letters
  • Assist in onboarding processes and ensure timely completion of recruitment administration
  • Analyse HR data (e.g. turnover, benchmarking) and generate reports as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
  • Support the delivery and administration of internal training programmes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information responsibly
  • A team player with a warm and approachable manner
  • Able to prioritise work effectively and meet tight deadlines
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident learning new systems
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the department
  • A strong interest in people and providing a professional HR service is essential.

  • Salary - £27,000 - £29,000
