Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about people? We're looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support the effective delivery of our HR operations across the organisation. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive HR environment.
The Role
As HR Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our HR function, supporting a wide range of day-to-day activities including:
- General HR administration and clerical tasks
- Recruitment coordination and onboarding
- Payroll support and data entry
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting training programmes and internal communications
This is a key position, enabling the HR team to deliver a smooth, efficient, and people-first service.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the HR leadership team with planning departmental activities and projects
- Manage and update employee data in relevant HR systems
- Work with the Payroll Officer to process employee changes, set up new starters, and assist with monthly payroll tasks
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and monitor follow-up actions
- Handle enquiries via the central HR inbox and support recruitment processes
- Coordinate job adverts, liaise with hiring managers and agencies, and manage interview logistics
- Draft job descriptions, contracts of employment, offer letters, and other documentation
- Ensure onboarding tasks and recruitment administration are completed efficiently
- Generate HR reports and analyse data (e.g. turnover, benchmarking)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files
- Support the planning and administration of staff training sessions

- Able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Quick to learn new systems and processes
- Genuinely interested in HR and supporting people
What You’ll Get in Return
