Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about people? We're looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support the effective delivery of our HR operations across the organisation. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive HR environment.

The Role

As HR Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our HR function, supporting a wide range of day-to-day activities including:

  • General HR administration and clerical tasks
  • Recruitment coordination and onboarding
  • Payroll support and data entry
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Supporting training programmes and internal communications

This is a key position, enabling the HR team to deliver a smooth, efficient, and people-first service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR leadership team with planning departmental activities and projects
  • Manage and update employee data in relevant HR systems
  • Work with the Payroll Officer to process employee changes, set up new starters, and assist with monthly payroll tasks
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and monitor follow-up actions
  • Handle enquiries via the central HR inbox and support recruitment processes
  • Coordinate job adverts, liaise with hiring managers and agencies, and manage interview logistics
  • Draft job descriptions, contracts of employment, offer letters, and other documentation
  • Ensure onboarding tasks and recruitment administration are completed efficiently
  • Generate HR reports and analyse data (e.g. turnover, benchmarking)
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files
  • Support the planning and administration of staff training sessions

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes
  • Genuinely interested in HR and supporting people
