This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Logistics/Warehouse administrator to join a well established manufacturing and distribution company at their Padiham site. This is a rolling temporary contract which has come about due to internal movements and has the potential to go permanent for the right person. This role is ideal for someone looking for Part-time work as it is 20 hours over 5 days.
 

As a Logistics Administrator you will be responsible for...

  • Organise and plan the daily customer orders for collection/ delivery and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
  • Ensure that all emails from internal and external customers are answered within a timely manner to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full
  • Liaise with team members and all sales teams to ensure customer orders are ready for collection and subsequently delivered on time
  • Organise all paperwork generated in an accurate way
  • Provide information for Shift Manager / Team Leaders with regards to specific customer requirements and collection times
  • Ensure all customer requirements are achieved within agreed timescales
  • Booking collections through 3rd party carriers, ensuring deliveries are made on time using the most cost-efficient transport
  • Participate in daily meetings, passing precise and up to date information to the Shift Manager / Team Leaders
