Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, multi-skilled individual to join their dynamic marketing team in their growing, family run company based in Blackburn.

The role is for someone who can turn their hand to videography, video editing, art working (packaging) and graphic design. They are looking for someone who has a great eye for detail and who is capable of dealing with multiple projects at any one time.

 

Your new role...

  • Producing and editing of product videos and motion graphics ensure delivery of concepts are on track to meet deadlines and that content produced is in-line with the overall strategy
  • Creating packaging for a wide variety of products to brand guidelines
  • Liaising with the Product Group Managers to produce manuals and other product documentation
  • Producing product logos/graphics when required
  • Creating screen printing artwork for certain products
  • Image editing including clipping paths, re-sizing, retouching etc
  • Producing other artwork as and when needed for promotional use across multiple platforms including web banners, e-shots and publications
  • Updating our in-house ERP system as and when required with product information (training provided)

 

About you...

  • MUST have worked on a Mac
  • MUST have at least 2-years experience using the Adobe creative suite mainly in Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • MUST have experience in videography/video editing/production
  • Understanding of typography and design layout
  • Experience using the Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • A team player
  • Open to learn about the products we distribute

 

Advantageous, but not essential:

  • Photography (in particular product photography)
  • Creative writing
  • Social Media posting
  • Previous industry experience
  • Understanding of the latest trends

If successful for an interview, you will be required to bring a portfolio of your work (digital or printed) and if successful for a second stage interview, you may be required to complete a quick project on the Mac.
