Our sister company Personnel Checks, are building a Background Screening Company that makes the working world safer for everyone.

Your new role...

  • Lead, oversee and take full accountability and responsibility for the day-to-day operations and procedures across all services provided to the customer ensuring maximum efficiencies and levels of professionalism
  • Responsible for the engagement, motivation and development of the operations team to support the delivery a professional function covering the Operational and Customer Service elements of Personnel Checks to ensure the highest levels of service are maintained
  • Design and implement business operations, strategies, plans and procedures
  • To develop individuals and team members to enable them to deliver individual and team targets and to maximise individual and team potential
  • To develop and monitor all key metrics regularly and provide a monthly operational delivery reports to the MD measuring key metrics i.e. account performance to projection, onboarding, account management updates, compliance scores, staff performance etc
  • Assessing change in the market environment, proactively developing a service strategy to take advantage of identified opportunities and trends
  • Take an active role in promoting and ensuring PC’s responsibilities for Safeguarding are met
  • Meet statutory obligations and promote and ensure compliance with policies and procedures and the DBS Code of Practice
  • Undergo extensive training to become an approved counter signatory with the relevant bodies.
  • Understand and follow the DBS Code of Practice and other governing body guidelines as applicable
  • Understand and follow the DBS’s eligibility criteria for all levels of DBS Checks

About you...

  • Knowledge of relevant national legislation relating to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) is desirable
  • Passionate about delivering world class service
  • Proven operational experience
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate and build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organisation with the ability to build rapport & capability
  • Organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outgoing, confident personality
  • Strategic leadership skills, vision and the ability to inspire and motivate
  • The ability to think commercially, identify and exploit opportunities and deliver innovative outcomes
