This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established personal tax portfolio within a friendly and collaborative team. You'll play a key role in delivering expert advice and exceptional service to a broad range of clients, including company directors, business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
The role:

Managing a substantial portfolio of personal tax clients

Preparing and reviewing approximately 700 personal income tax returns

Advising clients on personal income tax matters and tax planning opportunities

Providing guidance on Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters

Preparing and reviewing P11Ds and advising on benefits in kind

Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser

Working closely with colleagues across the wider tax and accounts teams

Ensuring compliance with changing legislation and identifying opportunities to add value to clients

Supporting process improvements and maintaining high standards of client service
About you:

Previous experience within personal tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice environment

ATT qualified, studying towards ATT or qualified by experience

Strong technical knowledge of personal taxation, including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax

Experience of preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and P11Ds

Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships

A proactive, service-focused mindset and the confidence to advise and support clients effectively
