We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the home interiors sector, specialising in the design, supply, and distribution of high-quality products across the UK. Known for combining innovation, style, and functionality, this organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding products and excellent service to both trade and retail customers.

To support continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly

  • Ensuring invoices are accurately coded to the correct departments and cost centres

  • Preparing payment runs in line with company deadlines

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records

  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting as required

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (experience with [insert relevant system] is advantageous)

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
