
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the home interiors sector, specialising in the design, supply, and distribution of high-quality products across the UK. Known for combining innovation, style, and functionality, this organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding products and excellent service to both trade and retail customers.
To support continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly

Ensuring invoices are accurately coded to the correct departments and cost centres

Preparing payment runs in line with company deadlines

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records

Assisting with month-end processes and reporting as required

Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (experience with [insert relevant system] is advantageous)

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
