Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Recruitment

We're looking for an experienced Temporary Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of our established Commercial and Business Support temp desk across East Lancashire.

With over 36 years in business, we've built a loyal client base, an excellent reputation and a team that believes recruitment works best when you hire good people, support them properly and then trust them to get on with it.

This isn't a trainee role. We're looking for someone with at least 12 months' experience in temporary recruitment who understands the pace, urgency and relationship management that temp recruitment demands.

What you'll be doing

  • Taking over and developing an established temporary desk with warm client relationships.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates through exceptional service.
  • Growing existing accounts while winning new business across East Lancashire.
  • Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality temporary candidates.
  • Managing the recruitment process from initial brief through to placement and ongoing aftercare.
  • Using modern recruitment technology and CRM systems to manage your desk effectively.
  • Becoming a trusted recruitment partner to your clients.

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in temporary recruitment.
  • A proven track record of developing client relationships and filling temporary vacancies.
  • Strong business development skills and the confidence to win new clients.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of the East Lancashire market would be advantageous.
