Are you an organised and proactive Account Coordinator or Sales Support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships whilst coordinating multiple projects behind the scenes?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business that supplies products to some of the UK's leading retail brands. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative commercial team where you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring customer projects run smoothly from start to finish.
The Role
As an Account Coordinator / Sales Support you'll support the management of key customer accounts, acting as the central point of coordination between customers and internal departments. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, NPD, Finance and Marketing, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, customer expectations are exceeded and relationships continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of customer accounts
- Coordinate customer projects from enquiry through to delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers via phone, email and meetings
- Prepare quotations, pricing information and support new product set up
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects remain on track
- Maintain accurate customer data, product information and forecasts
- Produce reports and account updates
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
About You
You'll be an organised, customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Sales Support, Account Coordinator or similar customer-facing commercial role
- Experience within manufacturing or FMCG would be highly advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Strong IT skills and experience managing data accurately
