Senior Administrator – Blackburn - £20,903 and £23,541 per annum

 

Are you an experienced Senior Administrator looking for a temporary – permanent role or looking for some experience to add to your CV, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you? Reporting to the HR manager.

 

Your new role will include…

             

  • Providing a high standard of administrative and organisational support to the CEO and the central team in order to assist in the smooth running of all activities.

 

  • Ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the Board of Directors, Local Governing Body (LGB) and Committee Meetings

 

  • Answering and managing incoming calls and directing where appropriate.

 

  • Taking notes of meetings to produce concise minutes which record accurately and objectively the business transacted and resolutions made.

 

  • Collecting and maintaining information about Directors and Governors such as any business and pecuniary interests and where required publish this information on the Trust and school’s website.

 

  • Creating distribute and advise on the annual calendar of governing board meetings.

 

  • Recruiting of Governors using the various platforms available.

 

  • Ensuring minutes and letters resulting from hearings are produced and circulated in accordance with the statutory and policy framework and relevant timescales.

 

  • Liaising with marketing agencies to source, create and deliver appropriate school and Trust media as needed.

 

  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records including terms of office for governing board members.

 

  • Undertaking effective due diligence for the Board of Directors and LGB’s, maintaining confidential and up to date information, including DBS checks.

 

  • To ensure Companies House and DFE ‘Get Information About Schools’ (GIAS) are accurate and up to date.

 

About you…

 

  • Have the ability to communicate professionally with clients both face to face, via email and over the phone

 

  • Organised and the ability to manage your own time, as well as to multi-task

 

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

 

  • Outstanding organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

 

  • Enthusiastic, motivated and results driven

 

  • 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths or Business Administration Qualification
