Cummins Mellor are working exclusively with a highly successful international business to recruit a Temporary Management Accountant for an initial 12-week assignment.

Whether you're immediately available or coming to the end of a contract, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact during a key period for the finance team.

Working closely with the wider finance team, you'll play a key role in month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial information is delivered across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Bank reconciliations and cash reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies
  • Preparation and posting of month-end journals
  • Variance analysis and reporting against budgets
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Support with VAT returns and financial reporting requirements
  • Assistance with forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Ad hoc reporting and finance support as required

About You

  • Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role
  • Strong month-end and reconciliation experience
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems
  • AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, qualified by experience or fully qualified candidates will all be considered
