
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for a Temporary order processor to join their busy Customer Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual with experience in a fast-paced sales or operations environment to join a dynamic and supportive business.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Sales Account Managers by ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to customer lead times and internal cut-off deadlines. The position has a strong export focus, predominantly supporting international accounts alongside UK national and key accounts.
You will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to both internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities

Processing manual orders received via telephone and email

Managing EDI orders and resolving exceptions

Handling customer enquiries and queries

Checking, chasing and allocating stock

Managing promotional line and new range allocations
-
Processing sample and POS orders
-
Maintaining pricing records and customer SKU information
-
Managing pricing queries and raising credits where required
-
Producing customer reports (including shipped, late or cancelled orders)

Creating pro-forma invoices for new or credit-restricted customers

Liaising with customer portals to ensure correct labelling and proof of collection documentation

Coordinating with warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure orders meet agreed collection and delivery times

Investigating carrier and customer queries and arranging re-bookings where required
About You

Previous experience within a busy sales office or customer operations environment

Strong customer service skills with confidence handling telephone enquiries

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines

Confident working both independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving ability and sound judgement

Proficient in Microsoft Office
