An opportunity has arisen at a distribution site for a Warehouse Operative to join the Walker Park team, committed to providing a first-class distribution service.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a flexible, “can do” approach to work. You must be able to work with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, daytime shifts, 06:50am – 16:00pm. A degree of flexibility may be required to meet customer and operational requirements.
The successful candidate will be proactive, driven to improve productivity while maintaining quality standards, and able to lead by example. In return, we offer a competitive rate of pay and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:

Using a counterbalance FLT to move and organise stock within the warehouse

Loading products onto machinery or equipment using an FLT

Operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures

Packaging goods ready for dispatch

Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Valid FLT Licence (essential)

Computer literate

Reliable and a good team player
