<p>Cummins Mellor are working exclusively with a highly successful and well-established business to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for an initial 12-week assignment.</p>

<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected organisation and gain experience within a busy, fast-paced finance function. You&#39;ll be joining a supportive team environment where you&#39;ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger process.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul data-spread="false">
	<li>Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently</li>
	<li>Matching, batching and coding invoices</li>
	<li>Supplier statement reconciliations</li>
	<li>Resolving supplier queries and investigating discrepancies</li>
	<li>Managing outstanding purchase orders and following up approvals</li>
	<li>Supporting weekly payment runs</li>
	<li>Credit card and expense reconciliations</li>
	<li>Producing reconciliation reports and assisting with finance administration</li>
	<li>Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>

<ul data-spread="false">
	<li>Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role</li>
	<li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills</li>
	<li>Experience reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries</li>
	<li>Comfortable working in a high-volume environment</li>
	<li>Good Excel and finance systems knowledge</li>
	<li>Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision</li>
